Part description
LEGO part 3245b is the original 1 × 2 × 2 brick mold introduced in 1991. Its interior has four large asymmetric ridges that allow an axle to be inserted. From the outside it looks almost identical to 3245c, so the easiest way to identify it is from the underside. The newer 3245c mold, introduced in 2010, uses four smaller ridges that hold a single stud. For accurate inventories, the two mold variants should be recorded separately.
